Aaron Wins Netroots Nation Contest PDF Print E-mail
aaron-voldmanAfter an online competition that spanned the first two weeks of June, Democracy for America selected SPA Executive Director Aaron Voldman to receive one of 40 scholarships granted to bold activists to attend the Netroots Nation Conference. Netroots Nation is the largest gathering of progressive bloggers in the nation.

Aaron's presence at the event will be a huge opportunity for The Peace Alliance & Student Peace Alliance to build relationships with bloggers, helping to ramp up the blogosphere's peacebuilding coverage. The scholarship was for admission (a $400 expense) and housing throughout the July 22-25 event.
