Research for your Meeting
Information about violence issues and currentl prevention programs in your community is extremely important for your meeting. Follow these directions in the document below to help research these details, as well as the background and interests of your Representative or Senator. This is the part of your preparation that will have the most influence at your meeting!

Below are some materials we recommend putting into a folder that you can hand to the staffer when you arrive at the office. In addition to these materials, we strongly recommend going through the House cosponsors list and create your own list of Congressmen/women from your State who are co-sponsors. This list will play an important part of your Senate meeting.
